I wish the UK government would consider this when people choose to live in the UK and then attack the main rekigion, or the system of government etc.

I hear what you say, Allen, but this thread has mutated from discussion of a specific incident and its ramifications for air transport into a wider discussion of the aims, motivations and correct treatment of terrorists.

We all accept that “thread creep” is a fact of life. The inevitable consequence of this is that threads will sometimes be moved into a forum that is more appropriate to the changed direction of the thread.

If people stayed on topic this wouldn’t happen, but we’re all human.
