Sorry about your cat, Sandy. 🙁

Whilst we’re on the go let’s point out that a lot of the ‘freedom fighters’ (as you prefer to call them) to whom I referred as convicted terrorists were IRA.
The IRA planted and detonated a large bomb in the centre of the city where I live, only a few hundred yards from the office where my wife was working at the time.
Show me where I’ve called the IRA “freedom fighters”. You can’t, can you?
Get your facts right before you go putting words into people’s mouths, eh?
I have no problem at all with punishing convicted terrorists – you can throw the key away for all I care.
But we were talking about the imprisonment and, in some cases, torture of people who have never been charged with any offence, never had any evidence presented to them and never been tried or convicted by anything faintly resembling a court of law.
Now, maybe you don’t have a problem with that sort of thing but I, together with a lot of other people, do.
You know, that still technically applies to me. 😀
Hail and welcome, Sandy! 😀

Ahhhhh…… I remember now, F-18.
I don’t think it’d work here – unless it was somehow tied in with soap operas and “reality tv”.
And who says that grey isn’t a colour????
but I sure hope they can emulate the Finnish example.
What, and live in Finland?
What do you mean, F-18?
Maybe they use smaller aircraft on the way back…….. 😉

That’s the British for you, F-18. 🙂
Seriously, though, don’t take a large majority in Parliament as evidence of massive popularity.
The British “first past the post” electoral system always exaggerates the level of support for the winner.
Anna – we’re having a serious discussion here, sweetie
Go troll elsewhere, there’s a love. 🙂
Indeed you did, Sir.
And it does you credit. 🙂
