People have short memories, Snapper.

They forget (or never knew in the first place) who it was that campaigned relentlessly during the 1970s and 1980s on behalf of dissidents locked up in the prisons and labour camps of the Soviet Union. Some may think it was Ronald Reagan, or even Rambo. 😉

Of course Amnesty is not perfect – show me the organisation that is – but they’ve always been a force for good in the world.

But it was the hospital that moved this unfortunate woman to make room for Mr Jackson.

I doubt his entourage unplugged her from the ICU equipment and bodily wheeled her from the room, so surely her grieving (and definitely not avaricious – no sirree) relatives should be suing the hospital and not him?

The fact that he’s almost certainly considerably more wealthy than the hospital and already has more than enough problems at the moment couldn’t have possibly had any bearing on the bereaved family’s decision to sue him instead, could it? :rolleyes:
