I don’t think it IS Pegasus, Sandy.

The Valkyries of Norse mythology rode flying horses too – I would think the Icelandair logo was far more likely to be representing one of them rather than a character from Greek mythology.

PS – I saw those Chilean Navy CASA 212s. 😉

    It’s a BCAL 1-11, Sandy.

    BCAL never operated the Trident.

    I don’t think so, tenthje.

It looks like N103TV (c/n 46802) which became N303FE with Fedex in 1984.

This aircraft was leased to Air Florida in 1981/1982, but was never with Alitalia.

    To (almost) change the subject…….

The poppy-dropping DC-3 flypast along the Thames in London this evening was a marvellous idea.

But what on earth was the point of doing it in the dark?

All those 737s and 727s have missed out on nearly 15 years of flying… surely they’ed be the lowest cycle examples of their kind.

    Almost certainly correct.

    Oh right!!! I didn’t see that……

No, I was referring to the way that particular aircraft seems to be popping up all over the place just lately.
