No, this is down to the UK government’s education policy and is nothing to do with commercial aviation.
It applies just as much to a caravan holiday in Rhyl as to a fortnight in foreign climes.

Maybe it’s my TFT monitor, but I honestly and truly can’t see any difference in quality between the two.
The charges levelled by high-street travel agents have nothing to do with commercial aviation, however much you insist otherwise.
