Hmmm….. the goalposts seem to have shifted somewhat here. Racism is another matter altogether, and a bit of a red herring in the context of the original subject.

Are you saying then that because Louis Farrakhan is a black American racist anti-semite, then all Moslems are black American racist anti-semites?

He’s got more in common with the KKK than with anyone else after all, IMHO.

TTP – please take your xenophobic slurs elsewhere. We normally get on fairly happily on this forum without that sort of thing.

Since you support the refusal of admission of Yusuf Islam or Cat Stevens (or whatever he’s called this week) despite the fact (a matter of public record, not supposition) that he has spoken out against acts of terror against the USA, would it be reasonable to deduce that you would seek to bar all Moslems from entry to the USA – just to be on the safe side?

That’d be sure to win hearts and minds……..for the extremists. 🙁

Would you feel the same way about any and all US citizens suspected of having contributed to, or supported, the IRA or Noraid being banned from entry to the UK, though?

Better to be safe than sorry, after all…….

Actually, Whiskey Delta, he has spoken out publicly against terrorism – and specifically criticised Islamic terrorists – on a number of occasions. For example, when speaking about the terrible attack on the World Trade Centre in 2001, “No right-thinking follower of Islam could possibly condone such an action.”

Being a Moslem doesn’t automatically make you a terrorist or a supporter of terrorism any more than being a US citizen automatically makes you a member of the Ku Klux Klan.

Otherwise, I agree with Steve. 😉
