Was this for a distinct reason?
Seems that way, ACA345. I posted a shot of B747 9V-SPP in an identical scheme a couple of days ago.
I see you changed your mind then, wannabe.
Glad you did – some splendid shots in there. 🙂
Don’t worry, it’s bound to rain soon. 😉
Do u work at all???
Yes, but I’m off until 20 September. 😀
Yes – 1625.
I think there may still be a HS 748 “doing the rounds” ? Emerald’s I think ?
Like G-OPFW??? 😀
Being offended, by the sound of things……. 😉
I wonder what services would now be operating from Filton’s 8094ft 09/27 had that airfield and not Lulsgate been developed as a commercial airport?
With both hands on your camera???? 😮
Nice shots as always, Joe.
“HUUUUEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”” 😉
You been on holiday then, Tom? 😉
Well, Tom, it is the highest international airport in the country, after all.
I’m surprised that airliners operating out of there don’t need RATO packs. 😀
You’re right.
I must be thinking of the Netherlands Antilles 767……….. 😮
I’m not sure, Tom.
It was working for MYT last weekend, or so I’m led to believe.
Happy to oblige, Joe.
According to the Aerad, 09/27 at Bristol is 2011m/6598ft in length, while 14/32 at Leeds is 7382ft long.
Don’t forget the altitude difference, though. LBA is 61ft higher above sea level than BRS. 😀
