No doubt a minority but nevertherless wanton violence.

According to numbers being quoted by the Met, much less than half of one percent in fact.

Commander Broadhurst again: “Unfortunately we have had a group of approximately 500 criminals committing some disorder including throwing paint at Topshop in Oxford Street and at the police, and scaring the public who are trying to shop.”

Do the sums for yourself, Sky High. 500 out of a quarter of a million.

It does seem perverse to use the actions of such a miniscule minority – who had little or nothing to do with the actual protest organised by the TUC – to distort the fact of a such massive, peaceful and, above all, well-organised and well-policed demonstration.

Incidentally, there is Flash on the forum. Used for the banner ad rotation. 🙂

Not if you use the NoScript addon in Firefox, there isn’t. 🙂

    Nothing like a peaceful demo?

“The main TUC march has been going well. We have had more than a quarter of a million people with hardly any problems”…… Commander Bob Broadhurst, Metropolitan Police.

But guess what tomorrow’s headlines will be all about…………..

Indeed, I am running Windows 7.

If it is the Windows System Protection, how do I go about changing it?

To be honest, I wouldn’t go changing it at all if you’re not particularly confident with IT matters.

Actually, I get the same error message as you in IE9 and I have altered the Win7 System Protection settings and I don’t run Norton AV.

That doesn’t help you at all, but at least you know you’re not alone. 🙂

You could always try Firefox or Chrome………….

The Key page is full screen in Chrome, but reduced width, as described above, in Firefox.

I’ve just checked another forum that I frequent, that is also “powered by VBulletin”.

That one displays as wide-screen in FF4 and in IE9.

I’ve just asked the Webmaster whether the forum settings have been changed, and I’ll let you know what he says.

And, I thought IE9 was still in beta.

No, mate. It’s a full release now.
