I hate to be pedantic (….oh yes I do!) but Windermere isn’t a lake.

There is only one lake in the Lake District, and that’s Bassenthwaite Lake.

The rest are Meres, Tarns, and Waters.

Madame GA was “superglued” back together again after both of her recent operations.

Seems to have healed up quite nicely.

To me, it looks like the upper section has been removed from a building that lies partly underground.

What we can see (partly overgrown) is the pattern of beams that both supported the ground-level floor and formed the roof of the sub-ground level storey.
