Never go to Legends without them 😉
Have to agree with the above comments – great photos fellas. Always great to see the “goings on” at Duxford from the other side of the world, especially on the run up to Legends. Oh and yes, well done to TFC, Mr Hinton and team.
Re the Lockheed 10A – I think you’re correct it is going into a museum, but (again I think) it is still going to be flown. Seem to remember the owners saying that in an article about it’s restoration and planned flight to Prague?
As TA says, RIP Norman. Never forgotten.
:very_drunk:
What Mike J said 😀
Fabulous – what a wonderful project.
A great article, together with a super selection of photos Elliott. I well remember lots of Brian’s superb displays. An intriguing insight into a very accomplished pilot and reminding us all of the great characters that are/have been around the Warbird scene, not least of all, the Hanna & Grey families. Thanks for posting.
Well done Mo. Great achievement. Well deserved
Pigs might be seen in the air before the Beaufighter, which has been discussed at length over the last few months/years:rolleyes:
Very good!
BUT you have a very good point. Why on earth is it going to be hung from the roof. OK, it’s back in it’s rightful position – in the air. But nobody looks up and when you do, all you see is the underside. If you look at any of the “suspended” aircraft, they’re always covered in a layer of dust! Just my thoughts 😉
Well deserved award, for a guy that gives so much to others. Congratulations to John.
Thanks for posting this great video. Sorry to see her leave the UK. Just hope she continues to fly and seen by thousands of people in the US.
Great guy, and as been said many times, much missed even today. RIP my friend
