    “Propstrike
It was still with Barry last week, Barry told me he is retiring and has about five to seven months to clear his yard, he was only looking after the B-25 with the hope of restoring her, and will now contact the owner, a well known warbird collector to see what he wants to do with it, so may be open to offers very soon.

    G-ANPK”

Was it not sold to Stephen Grey/TFC many moons ago or am I totally wrong/out of date??

OK guys, stop dangling carrots. If you know whats going on, and it’s not going too offend the owners, then tell us. Too many of “in the know” conversations!! Interesting though!

Remember watching G-BISU doing circuits at Coventry. And I’m sure that it was from the same ac, that I witnessed horses being unloaded at Staverton (presumably from Ireland) at the time of the Cheltenham Cup. Shame that there are none now flying, but pleased that a number are being cared for, and applaud the efforts of bringing one to th UK.

(Work has not resumed on the new hangar, the framework can be seen in the background of pic below)

Thanks for the update DCW, and another set of cracking photos.

I know this is not aircraft (direct) related, but can I request one of the “resident” photographers give us a quick update on the construction of ARC’s new hangar. Thanks, from a follower many miles away!

This is just very sad. Flown from Wellesbourne over the years. Great friendly place.

Interesting that a previous Airfield Manager is now a member of South Cambridgeshire Councils Cabinet.

Beaufighter, you would think he would know better! Poacher turned gamekeeper maybe????
