Thanks Brian something more learnt today.
Thanks Charlie. We were very lucky as I hadn’t been following the thread. We are already in lovely Essex, the people are so nice here:D, having lunch and looked up and saw it on TV. Quick look at the thread and the delay and we just had time to get to DX.
So thanks to the guys for putting all the updates and flight information on this thread or we would have missed out on this and have only been 20 miles away.

Trumper. Yes, it was N3200, it rolled to a halt right in front of me, have posted in DX Diary about it, engine just seemed to die but I have no idea if anything was wrong. Would have thought so as when TD314 came up behind there was a bit of good natured finger pointing. Stress I have no idea what happened.
Always pleased to meet other forumites, well some other forumites anyway, please say hallo, I’ll be the one with a camera so should be easy to spot. And a wife who doesn’t look bored.:D
The weather was very threatening but held off long enough to get most under cover.

Looks like you were right behind me, the idiot in the blue shirt, wife to my right, at 1:13 in vid. Very nice video the Blenheim is very dark and can be difficult especially against dark background and you cannot fiddle with it like stills.
Very nice video with good engine noise, no wind noise or camera shutters or screaming kids etc!!!
Some of the Spitfires came down to the ARC hangers. Several had gone by and N3200 was approaching when the engine stopped and she coasted to a halt right in front of us.

Whilst waiting for the tug TD314 came up behind and a bit of friendly pointing took place.

We were very lucky to have 4 flights landing at Duxford. Not many people here today
The four flights.

And what exactly are you implying about people who bough Charles & Diana tea pots!! They are very tasteful and looks very nice under the three flying ducks and alongside the fishing gnome. 😀
If the weather that Coventry has had today had arrived yesterday the whole show would have been cancelled. It has been heavy rain for much of the day.
Moving into the restoration hanger access was available from the middle of the hanger enabling shots that were not possible at my last visit.
So frontal views of DH Rapide/Dominie RL958 were possible.

Bruggen is of course 100% correct. Shutter and some mirror noise. Some DSLRs do have silent shooting modes which may be where the misconception arises. However, it is very far from silent in fact I am hard pushed to notice any difference.
So rule 3 has to go as not possible.
Is the problem of camera noise worse now compared with the past as with roll film the amateur had to limit the number of shots according to his budget. Now of course you merrily snap away hoping to catch that exact moment at no cost other than shutter life which you probably don’t think about.
Under the distance selling regulations you can return anything purchased at a distance, ie mail order, for a full refund no questions asked.
If somebody not into aeroplanes purchased this item and subsequently found out that the Spitfire was not representative of the type in service at that time it would be grounds for a refund.
Presumably the item has previously been on sale at that higher price otherwise that would be an offence.
Yes but I am not a teacher and at least I know what one is even if I cannot spell it. Thanks for pointing it out.
Where would we be now if it wasn’t for men like this.
Rest in peace
