I knew that there would be some reason against it, otherwise it would have been done……

Good luck to you, Tornado – I have a picture in my mind of the guy with the crowbar!:D

But I don’t think there is any brainwashing going on. Blokes have always preferred what theyn prefer and I can’t see that there’s a problem having a light-hearted debate about it. After all men have ogled the pin-ups of the 40s through Bardot and Fonda to the page 3 girls of the 80s to now, so enjoying looking at a “well-proportioned” girl is nothing new.

Wouldn’t an answer be to redesign cabins so that locker space was minimal? Then a handbag or laptop or similoar woild be all a passenger coild take on board, the rwest woild have to go in the hold.n It woild save the deviousness, save time loading and at the gate.

I am sure there are many objections from those “in the business” but years of suffering from inconsiderate fellow passengers struggling with oversized luggage through the cabin and into already crammed full lockers put this thought into my mind many years ago.

What a marvellous and inspiring museum. I have never seen it nor am I likely to, so your pictures are a wonderful way to get a sense of the experience. Thank you for sharing them.

That’s a very good thought! But, really, what a load of old c***p. We might as well tear up the UK Law rule book and allow every member of every minority group to practice according to their own laws. Polygamy would be allowed, ritual slaughter perhaps, and of course death by capital means for some. And no doubt a host of others.

Bob – I have not seen any of them, and do not intend to, for the very reasons you have described in your post. They demean the “celebrity” as well as the participants and the audience. Garbage TV.

That must surely be unique! Fantastic. I am wondering how Mrs J would feel if I installed similar in the office!

I never got as hooked on Frazier as I did on Taxi and Cheers. Perhaps I was travelling more and only saw it sporadically.

You beat me to it. My thoughts precisely – especially your second paragraph. And I shall be avoiding it on the TV as well, although no doubt the normal schedules will be decimated by matches on several channels and endless comment, speculation, and repeats. When’s it on? – a trip to a wilderness might be recommended.
