Anaesthetic Throat Spray.
Directions : Read the inclosed leaflet first before using this medicine.
Adults and teenagers: Do not spray into the eyes.
I mean, come on, really…. thats almost as bad as instructions on Shampoo…..
Clearly no problem for children to spray into their eyes, though. That’s useful to know.
Pity I am so far away – the end of April sounds lkike the place to be for “V” bomber fans!:) They were so much a part of my life during the 50s and early 60s as an aviation besotted teenager and I only have to “smell” the Victor nose section at Manston to take me back 50 years.
This thread is going nowhere. The majority are all agreed and the extemists will never agree. A bit like Northern Ireland, in fact. Fortunately the minority is being squeezed ever smaller and perhaps will, one day, become an irrelevance.

The frecce tricolori crash at Mildenhall was 1979 and it was a Fiat G91PAN that crashed at Beck Row.
Thank you for that corroboration. And Beck Row is close to north west from our position so it’s comforting to know that the old memory is still OK after 30 years.:)
If you are so irrationally passionate about it what are you doing in Scotland?

Mildenhall, I think it may have been 1985 ish, 7 Fiat G91Rs of Frecce Tricolori took off, did their display, no problem !, we noticed only six landed ? nothing was mention on PA ! all continued. Read about it in paper next day. IIRC pilot was killed. RIP. Keith.
This happened in 1979 (re-equipped with the MB339 in 1982) Solo pilot hit a tree whilst re-positioning for a manouvere. It took the USAFE a looong time to allow the Frecce back to their display programmes. I think the next time may have been Ramstein in 1988….
This from a thread posted by Kodak in January 2008. I didn’t think I was getting that old! However I well remember seeing the pall of smoke away to the north west, I think, from where we were were watching. And then one missing on landing, but no announcement as Kodak stated. But it was pretty clear to all around what had happened.
Ah, the burgers!! In the split oil drums – the best ever. No, I don’t remember that commentator but I do vividly recall the Frecce Tricolori crash in 1979/1980 perhaps.:(
No, not really the better life. I divide my time between there and here but spend more there than here and intend to increase my exile!
no it isn’t, it is common sense
buy something for £100 sell it for £20
economic sense???
I am also a businessman…..my bank manage would have me in his office pdq if i did that sort of thing.
Or buy it for £100 and sell it for £100 but have no customers. In any case the true disparity between costs and revenue seems unclear from these posts.
Better still – offer it as the “Popemoplane”.:)
Well done – great pictures confirm exactly what CD said. I need new specs!:)
Well, I did wonder about that as well. I think the jury will have to remain “out” until we locate “Farmer Giles”.
When the image is enlarged it does look like the canopy and not a tarp cover.
You are missing the point. The begging bowl is out all the time – that’s how these things work – with donations. Without donations ( begging bowls ) we would not have an Historic Aviation forum to enjoy here because there would be few museums and few flying historic aircraft.
