This is the b*****d’s company. I’m sure he will be suitably boycotted.

And this thread is the living proof of it! And it always has to be in RED – I wonder why that is……………….

As you say a couple of “gems”. I used to live near Mildenhall and remember several Air Fetes with great pleasure – I didn’t realise they had ended. When? Costs? Security? Lack of interest? Great shame.

That was “Kite”! Now I remember. And that was the aircraft we were shown around and sat in the left-hand seat. I will have to make the effort to get to Cosford to renew the acquaintance. I have never been and it looks like a very good museum.

Thanks – that’s a good start. Sad about its demise, though, but I suppose it was difficult to justify 3 “V” bombers in the circumstances and so the Valiant had to be sacrificed. I remember Wittering being a busy place as I think it held a large stock of nuclear weapons and I vividly rmember a bunch of us teenage cadets being taken though concete compounds and shown an “Atom bomb”!

Is the only one left at Cosford?

Until his posts were deleted I am sure he referred to “private exchanges” with Kath and lead us to infer that the two of you had been conducting moderately civilised exchanges. Clearly not.

I think our “friend” has a severely warped view of things and we are certainly better off without him. Sorry, if that’s personal, Mods, but possibly acceptable as we are discussing an ex-member.

As for this thread we are all hopeful that things really will get better and some are even optimistic.

And since our last exchanges policing and justice will be devolved next month so the Republican supporters really have got most of what they wanted out of Good Friday. The recalcitrant UUP will continue to cause problems and represent the feelings of a significant minority.

Captain Oveur: Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?

    I wonder why I enjoy that quote…..:D

I think your last sentence might be directed to all the naysayers here. I bet most of them will be enjoying the experience somewhere this summer.:) Don’t forget it might be the last.

Well you perhaps you did get a reminder which was also spammed – you can’t blame them for that! I did get two reminders, one that it was due to expire and then to say that it had expired and did I want to renew.:)
