Well, I’m an old fashioned kinda guy and resent the imposition. But beny was equally reassuring about position and screen size, so, as I said, I will make the best of it and the weather looks perfect for a great days flying. Let’s hope the no-flyers are as few as possible and for you too, as I am sure a few of the displays will be at both events, as well as others during the day.:):)

The problem is the majority off airshow goers are not aircraft enthusiasts so its football on the big screen, people still go, bills get payed, another airshow next year. With the sound off it seems a good compromise to me.

Seriously though RH I dont think it will spoil your day out. If it is like Waddingtons big screen it will be set back a little fom the actual crowd line. There will be no sound, well just a few cheers every time we stick one of the 5 goals past them.

We can now confirm that the World Cup football match between England and Germany on the Sunday will be shown on one of our large screens, viewable from the display line.

For those of you who love the sound of Spitfires and Messerschmitts, don’t worry, the game will be shown without sound.
