Nice to read that. I am a novice here, but enjoy it because of its ability to exude friendliness amongst forumites, however strong disagreements can be from time to time. Usually they end with a “shake-of-the-hand-agree-to-differ” and we move on to the next topic, resentment free. Long may it continue.

Admittedly not, but you know as well as I do that when the word ‘cuts’ is mentioned anywhere near the NHS, it’s the frontline services that are the first to suffer…

Well, perhaps I am not as cynical as you ;), because I just have a hunch that this lot might axe where it should and not where it hurts most – at the user’s end. But it’s academic as the NHS is a no-go area – for now. In the much longer term I cannot see how cuts are avoidable.

How do long haul passengers manage if the are flying to JFK, Newark or La Guardia. Or Roissy-Charles de Gaulle, or Orly? No mention of New York or Paris.

7&8 are by far the worst… 😉

As to the others, well, I think either you’re all just squeamish, or haven’t had the pleasure of visiting the eateries in a motorway services for a good while!:D
