I can understand the passion and strong feelings of anyone with any direct involvement, on either side, but I cannot understand the extreme views of anyone not involved and too young to have had any first hand knowledge of the events. Funny how we haven’t had any cries of “whitewash” regarding this report. It just shows how politically sensitive the situation remains and how thin the wire is, which we tread with regard to Ulster.

Although by the Wednesday prior probably a bit more than that………….in any case I shall pretend it’s pre-internet and arrive on Sunday morning ready to be amazed!

He does, indeed, and for one who can have no direct memories of the terrible years of violence the belligerence of his feelings is worrying. Unless he can reassure to the contrary.

Generally, participants are revealed the week before the show. Last year, I seem to remember the list being published on the Wednesday prior.

It’s Flying Legends, large crowds are pretty much assured so there’s no need to release a list that is subject to change weeks before the show, I suppose!

Added to which that it is in the nature of these beautiful machines that their availability may not be clear until closer to show time. We must just be patient but with the knowledge that we are unlikey to be disapponted. It will be my first Legends and I cannot wait for it. In fact I am enjoying not knowing the line up and looking forward to being surprised.
