Please excuse my ignorance, as I don’t know to much about Seafires, but why did they use such a bright green inside. I presume this was RN interior?
Do you know why they call it a Royale with cheese?
It’s ok I am sure you will let us know as soon as you are able. Thanks for the updates you can let us know.
She always looked a little sad with no fabric… glad she is coming on! She is alot happier with all her friends then a cold hangar.
Yeah I know Bob well and he is a great bloke, but he wouldnt take kindly to me saying that! Always around when we need him, and sometimes before we have called him..Not met other Bob yet.

Because the CAA tend to have more important things to do than update there website…or at least they tell us that… As Damien says it is not the first place you will hear about things.
Not another Bob…is he as miserable 🙂
Got a pic of that Nanchang at Nelson a couple of weeks ago… it sure gets around…I will try and dig it out. Not sure if it is the same one.

As far as i understand the Hawks were a civilian Maggie built before the war and loaned to the RAF during it for training. Hence the civil registration.
The snow wasn’t to bad past Duxford.. At stansted it had almost all gone by 9.00am.
But i was told it was worse the further towards Norfolk you got… what where you going to fly from where?
When is it?
Yep i have been told it is all to do with the engine 😀

With a flare 🙂
Afraid not the missus went walking with the camera while I had a chat so only got a few of the planes down by the side of hangar 5 and the nose ones, she is getting quite good. Can tell the difference between a Hurricane and a Spit now!
Believe me it is a step forward.
