    Blenheim place.. or ARCo as it is otherwise known (you know big hangar, did have a Blenheim in)… ok so I know is isnt as funny now as we thought it was. Anyway the three Spits have been for sale for ages, I believe since 2000 as they were the Millenium collection. It has just had a big media buzz now, I guess to create some interest or a slow news day. Anywho

    I wouldn’t go as far as to say i KNOW something you don’t know, but I have heard rumours, it is not fair to divulge them yet, anyway it is not a surprise otherwise is it. Don’t want to spoil your whole year.

    I must admit it does often seem ‘same s**t different weekend’ but they do try hard, especially last year with the Hurricane which was worked on endlessly over the weekend to try and get ready.

    I think 9 aircraft down maybe a little over the top, I mean Blenheim Palace has been trying to sell those Millenium Spits since well 2000.

    Ok the Hurricane has gone but TFC have a new one. The choccy Spit has gone to the US but the 2 seater from hysterical flying will be ready I am sure.

    As for the OFMC’s stuff, I am sure you will be happy with whats in the ‘wings’ (yes i know it is fuel and guns). 🙂

    Should be a good year with lots of new stuff. They arent oily old scrappers really… now you don’t believe it do you!!!

    Crash and Smash cut through the wiring loom. We had the panels off a few years ago for its annual inspection and she doesnt look to bad at all. A little work and she would run again.

    We think they just like collecting old ugly carrier aircraft.

    The OFMC did a lot of work towards getting this plane certifyed when they had it. I believe although dont quote me, that they had got the yes from the CAA, unfortuanately the chap who had been working on it was very ill and could not continue, lets hope it flys to show his work was not totally in vain.
