Deelen Airfield National Monument
Believe there is a really good museum there as well.
Have always been interested in Deelen as there is a memorial here just outside Edinburgh to the memory of 4 German airmen who were killed when there JU88 (from 4/KG6),crashed into a hill side,they set out from Deelen on the evening of the 24th March 1943.

Plenty still going on , 2 of the most recent being the Mustang near Bellingham in Northumberland and the Lancaster up Loch Lomond way.
