    ..And the kids that I have banned from SDF should see me now:diablo:

    And why do you keep saying that?Do you feel guilty inside for taking the other side here and is trying to justify to yourself?No need to answer that question..but think yourself.

    I presume that you are not that aware of chinese military capacity

    And I am sure you know about the military capacity of the “erstwhile” USSR?
    Military is not all.Its a part of the equation.The US and west will win.Whether anybody likes it or not.

    China has the right to handle its internal affairs as it sees fit. Just like the USA did in the 1700 and 1800s, or did the native Americans all of a sudden move somewhere else?

    So you are justifying one wrong with the help of another?

    Dear members,

    Can anyone give me the following details regarding versions of the IAI Kfir?

    1: First of all; prices (fly-away)?

    Kfir C2
    Kfir C7
    Kfir C10/ (Kfir 2000??)

    And any other versions, including upgrades with EL/M-2032, PGM capability especially LGB. Plus how much has/will full deals cost? I believe Ecuador has got a full deal and there were proposed deals to other nations as well (but NOT SL Govt. deals please ;):p ).

    2: Maximum weapons load for all versions.

    Please feel free to add any additional info! If possible points me to some official sources (but not fan sites).

    I think the question should be a bit clearer(at least for me)..
    that whether you are looking for aircraft that has been designed for maritime strike as the main role ..if not then most of today’s multirole and attack aircrafts are quite capable of maritime strike.

    Yes..

    RD-33MK is the first product of major modifications of the basic engine. Its horsepower is 7% higher due to the use of cooled blades made of modern materials including composites.

    FACTS
    Unassisted takeoff of the MiG-29K fighter from the aircraft carrier deck is possible owing to the increased horsepower of the engine;
    The engine contains systems that reduce its infrared and optical visibility;
    The service life of the engine is a long 4,000 hours;
    Installed on MiG-29K, MiG-29KUB and MiG-35 jet fighters;
    Developed in 2001.

    RD-93 and RD-33 series 3(which India is going to produce 120 nos) have got longer MTBO but other than that not much change than basic RD-33.

    US Navy secretary, Donald Winter, will arrive in India on Wednesday on a visit that will see him visiting key defence establishments at New Delhi and Mumbai.

    Lockheed Martin has offered to build three surface combat ships for the Indian Navy. Though the type of ships have not been specified, it could easily be the LCS as some production lines at the Mazgaon Docks are lying idle, awaiting fresh orders from the Indian Navy.
