Excellent shots, do you know what G-CELR was operating? PMI? What time did you take the shot?

Yep, G-CDKD always seems to end up like that! It was the same when it was in the SAS hybrid scheme, and it was only repainted a few months ago at the most!

“LR” was taken at 3.20, dunno where it was coming from

you do miss movements but IMO the stuff you do see makes up for it, hence I’m going for a day trip in August again!!

Very nice, as always. I take it you didn’t catch the MD that is operating the HEL flights for Sterling today?

I was working through Glasgow this morning, only stopped off for a wee while, too cold for my old bones so went home, didnt have a clue what else was due today, might try a longer visit next Sunday though

    I could well be……… 😀

Thanks for the kind comments, chaps.

In answer to Robert’s question about parking a car, I’m not a driver but it looks like parking is already tight enought for the residents so it’d be pretty bad form to park up on the Avenue itself (IMHO, of course).

The car park at Hatton Cross Underground station is reasonably-priced and within easy walking distance.

Cheers!! I’ll have to get down sometime, last time at LHR I used the Spectators area!

    Thanks RIP

Can I ask what is the best way to let them know if we decide to use the car park for photographing and aircraft as we don’t want to get on the wrong side of them?

I think there’s a Security desk beside the check-ins, if not just ask at the Information desk, personally i dont rate the top of the car park at all for photography. Its ok for spotting the stuff at the GAT.

Very interesting, I’m off to Berlin for the day on Tuesday, but using SXF and not TXL. First time outside of the UK and Ireland (barring my US trip last week) for over a year so looking forward to it!

I’ve used SXF before, here’s a link to my website with some stuff on it
