    OK,stupid female question coming up.

Everyone seems to be blaming the England goalkeeper for losing the match by letting ONE goal in.

Why isn’t anyone blaming the guys who are paid squillions to score goals but only managed one between them ?

    Am I missing something ?

My mother actually drinking enough yesterday.
If she keeps on doing it she might get out of hospital and I might just get my life back one day.

Yes,it’s bumblebees again but I’m quite pleased with these two and it keeps me amused whilst Mr. Bee’s entranced watching some boring thing about football.
The bee was actually upside down on the flower in the first one but you can see it better this way up.

    Some statistics from a Financial Times article dated May 21st 2010 ( FT copyright,so can’t post a link ) –

There are currently some 138,000 firearms certificates held, covering 430,000 weapons.
Shotgun certificates are issued separately, and there are 1 million of them.

Obviously a lot of people want to own weapons for various reasons,as this works out to one firearm for every twenty-five adults.

The number of crimes using firearms is actually falling though, with the number of fatalities from shooting being 39 in 2008/09,the lowest number for 20 years.

Obviously you can prove anything you like with statistics, and any death by shooting is one too much, but it does suggest that the overwhelming majority of legally-held firearms holders are responsible citizens.

    Cheers, BB.

He’s not as bad as I thought he would be, but it’s still frightening to see him that way. He’s always done things for my gran, but he looked unbelievably helpless earlier….

That’s the worst thing, seeing someone who’s always been there for you in that state and realising how vulnerable they really are.
You and your family will be in my prayers tonight.

    Where do I start ?

The council department due to fit some disability aids at my Dad’s house, who gave a delivery time between nine o’clock and five, and turned up at four fifty-eight …

My Mum,in hospital for dehydration, who just will not drink nearly enough ..

Not being able to reach the top shelf in the supermarket ( AGAIN ). As Stewie in Family Guy says, ” Curse my short stature ! “

Getting a text from my daughter settling in at Download – to think I turned her down when she invited me to go with her ..

Missing a perfect shot of a bumblebee on aquilegia, because I’d left my camera indoors …

    MR. BEE !!!
