What is a KLM 777 doing in Scotland?
Why would SQ and CX be looking to replace brand new airplanes?
Not bad. It’s missing something for me as well. However, I like the former over the latter, as it’s more corporate in keeping with SQ’s market.
Very nice photos. And, agreed, San Fran is a great city.
I think that they would take aircraft from the mainline Virgin fleet. Don’t they have aircraft in storage? I might be wrong about that. If their west coast base is going to be SFO then wouldn’t they base out of their and feed into it with the domestic carrier? I don’t think they could stay with a complete no frills service. I’ve done the flight to Sydney from Canada and you want a little bit of comfort.
I can’t stand Air India’s livery. No offence to anyone on the subcontinent.
The tail looks fantastic. I like the way you sort of scewed the image over the rear fuselage. I like the font type of Egypt Air. Not crazy about the barge, but good theme work of their past transporation meeting the present. I like the navy blue. It makes me think of their royal past. Oh, and I like the cartouche (sp?), keep that and ditch the boat.
Who wants to work out at 35,000ft anyway? Just give us a stellar inflight entertainment system instead. I would love it if there was a camera on the tail (like the346???) and you could tune in the view on your personal tv.
Great pictures (as always). I was just in PHL, holy busy airport Batman. I flew on AC’s CRJ200 and we parked between UA 757 (huge) and their CRJ700 (pretty big as well).
They’re being used non-stop to Hong Kong from Toronto.
I think I answered my own question. I believe it’s an A330 from AMS and I know it’s a DC9-50 (DOH!) to YYZ.
Just saw BMI’s A330 fly overhead for the first time on finals into YYZ yesterday. Coincidently.
Some of the US fleets of 757/767 are starting to get a bit weathered. The program dates back rougly twenty years now. Plus charters love these aircraft, they could find markets to ditch them to in favour of new fuel efficient models.
The beauty of the web is its democratic nature. I’ve been enjoying this forum, more as a reader than contributer, on and off for about two years. Some thread titles interest me, so I read them. Some threads don’t, so I don’t open them. Simply put, if you don’t like a particular title/thread, you don’t have to read it, just move on to the next title.
Very nice.
