If anyone follows this guy: https://mobile.twitter.com/sayed_ridha you will notice he posts pics of FSA/Al-Sham advances in Jarablus, notice no dead bodies or damage showing an actual fight? This is leading people to believe this is purely a way for Turkey and US to take territory and create a buffer zone for their terrorist friends to build up in. Eventually it will expand and Russia and Syrian gov will have a huge problem on their hands. I fodder a Libya 2.0 at the end and Russia kicked out of Syria. Will also end up ruining Russia’s relations with any remaining countries who aren’t part of the whole western hatred of Russia.

I have to say, Russia should have stepped up and told the others to screw off. Now looks like Turkey/US is going to win this and not so much for Assad.

    Sad but credible indeed.

Turkish side said they didn’t knew the identity of the Su-24 before shooting down. They have shot down different Syrian aircraft, and surely this Su-24 didn’t get any special treatment than those. What is not to believe in this official explaination?

Being french I don’t know how any one could believe any official explanation whatsoever.

What makes you think this is a well set up trap for this aircraft that makes the basis of your other teories?

Because it spent at most a couple dozen seconds in Turkish airspace. And yet an F16 was there ready & close enough to shoot it down & obviously there was someone on hand to give the order for shooting.

In the light of what happened later, it seems reasonable to imagine that un-loyal NATO-friendly air force people did that to force Erdogan’s policy in one direction by antagonizing Russia.

If those guys can get to fly a few F16s at the presidential palace or whatever, they sure can have some of their guys on patrol at the Syrian border, waiting for an opportunity to shoot down a Russian plane.

Maybe that’s not what happened, who knows, but it’s definitely not more unlikely than any other explanation.

I think Russians simply have traded their “acknowledgement” for something else, most probably pretty valuable to them.. seeing Erdogan providing words of deep regret and repentance over the ill-fated Su-24M, selling the THK pilots as “traitors who have damaged our good mutual relations”.. the info Russian GRU have on him must be a bomb.. My 0.02 🙂

Considering the recent events in Turkey, is it so far fetched to assume that the personnel responsible for the Su-24 shoot-down were part of the same bunch that attempted the coup. It’s known that there were F16 involved in the coup right?

It’s pretty obvious the Su-24 was shot down in a well set up trap, and it’s pretty likely that was done precisely to antagonize Russia. Did Erdogan really want to do that? Did the US through it’s NATO/gladio networks have the influence to organize it?

I wouldn’t dismiss any theory at the moment.

    Nice website thanks.

Reading the article about ESM confirms the impression I’ve had for many years that air combat looks more & more like submarines combat.

If Turkey cant become member of EU there is no reason for it to do its obligation for Nato.

What the hell has the EU got to do with NATO except for the fact that they are equally evil organizations?

A Third version of the story appeared on a newspaper claiming to be quoting the F-16 pilot who bombed the security directorate, claimed he dropped second bomb to stop a Police helicopter before it took off. All are BS if you ask me.

Currently both TSK and politicians claim all heavy equipment, tanks, armored vehicles, ships, fixed wing aircraft and helicopters are accounted for, but some small arms and ammo is missing from the inventory.

Could the helicopters come from neighboring countries?

when there is 6 AIM-54 on F-14. Is there any space left for fuel tanks as without it F-14 has very limited range.

    Seriously?
