Hi Dairwin Many thanks for these facts,these bit have been laying here for 25 years and yesterday i found them when I was having a tidy up and having registered today on this Forum having never used any forum before I have now got a complete understanding of what they are all about.now I will have to think what I am going to do with them.

Marlin Cam Shaft

Hi So the A shaft has two gears behind the crown wheel and is on the right hand bank looking forward from the supercharger, have i got that correct,

Hi how can i tell which cam is the left or right bank ( side ) and which end are the gears, at the front ( prop end ) or the blower end?

Hi thanks for that, how would i find the year the engine was made ? were the Mk 24 engines ever fitted to the Hurricane, Spitfire or Mosquito.
