Read about this tragedy. Airline flies Cessna 208’s and Beaver’s, figured it was a beaver (did not say in initial report).
Condolences.
Propstrike:
“Terrible news.
An entire family living not far from me were all lost in 2015 in a stall / spin Beaver floatplane accident.”
I highly doubt it. Pilot was extremely experienced.
Witnesses said it was a sudden change in attitude, nose down.
Well, not first time someone combined parts of 2 aircraft…

Yes, I have seen a LOT of aircraft parts in Sci-fi movies.
And even a few non-sci-fi
(and yes, I know about the MG-15 in SW #4)
Star Trek is almost here!
It might well be the future of restoration!
Already is!
Still was.
Commentary was not reassuring either.
Either way, it is barely worth more than scrap metal, not even close to the Euro 200.
(an offer of e30 may be snapped up quick)
Here is a thought:
This could have been an early instrument to measure cabin pressure or cabin air conditioning system.
Basically an aircraft grade environmental system.
If not WW2 then early post war air liners.
Glad I am useful for something!
What under the “M/M of Water”?
Some good advice to anyone who acquires parts from out of country.
Found aircraft with similar wheel mount, but nothing to suggest they made the mystery plane.
Just a wild card, see if its a winner.

I saw this on eBay too.
it is a fillet for a large aircraft, elevator or rudder.
Ju88, Ju52, He111, something like that.
I guess about 400mm at widest.
Colo(u)r looks very strongly German, but not know more that
To be clear,
the only thing I am positive is its a large aircraft.
I am fairly certain rudder or elevator.
everything else is up for speculation.
OK, quick search,
not a 111 or 52, best bet is Ju 88 rudder bottom.

And other parts not as chilly.
Great posts!!
Is there a list of eBay sellers we need to be especially careful of?
£920.00 for that Sunderland APU. About what to expect.
