it will have the latest safety features. Slides, glass cockpit,…
Nice ones Jack!
probably a javascript. Nothing to worry about.
I see no virus. Maybe your scanner freaks out on the flash intro?
isn’t this a converted T-6?
Fouga, May I ask why importing a corroded Meteor when a Belgian Meteor is corroding away on a pole atop the Dinand citadel?
Just curious
Cheers
Cees
From what I heard: the owner wants another aircraft in place. That, plus the Meteor was placed there when the trees were small. Now the trees are all grown up and you can’t get there with a crane. You need to helilift it a few meters down the road to be able to transport it. Again, this is what I heard, don’t take this as gospel 🙂 Looks as I’m out for the Ebay one though. Reserve is a bit high for me.
Got to see some more. lots of things remaining in the cockpit. No instrumnt panels though. there are some pieces of skin cut out from asbestos removal but nothing that can’t be repaired. I might be interested in buying with a friend of mine, but price is a bit steep for us I’m afraid. We’ll see.
chipmunk?:p
I’m interested in it too, but I wonder. I found an article on this airframe stating it was a gate guard for over 40 years. It was supposed to be restored and placed on a pole on the airport it is currently at, but now it’s for sale. One of the reasons I can think of for doing this is too much corrosion on the aircraft to put it up a pole:(
nice! Shame there are so little pictures. Would like to see more of the interior and damage.
so out of interest, How much does a jaguar cockpit go for and how easy is it to find the parts to complete it?
It’s Belgian by the way.
As a Belgian, I refuse to believe that. Must be the work of some imported Italian or French :p We only make good looking stuff:D
Well, I’ve never heard of it, but you might want to thy the Belgian Aviation History Association forum:

I’m still looking for FOuga parts:

That ceiling does look like a freezer, so my guess would also be extreme cold weather trials for engine performance.
