That just screams Matra 🙂
I think you have done a wonderful job in preserving history, Merkle. The canberra, the sukhoi..
Hydrazine is used in F-16’s as an emergency fuel. If you ever see one crash: RUN! it attacks the nervous system and is lethal.
Such a shame 🙁 Hope you find a new permanent home soon!

Short answer short… not interested in cockpits any more. Simples .
Not even the Harriers?
Aha! One of Jack’s playthings 🙂 Here’s another one he regularly flies, and the one I play with these days:http://www.airliners.net/photo/Fouga-CM-170R-Magister/1962313/L And here is one I tried to break in the good old days :phttp://www.airliners.net/photo/Belgium—Air/Fouga-CM-170R-Magister/1411196/L
That’s an American (HGU-33?) helmet. Did the Magister crews wear US flight helmets in service, or would it have been French home-grown gear? Anon.

Anon.
French used the Gueneau helmets with Ulmer masks. In Belgium we used the American HGU/MBU combo
Nice! G-Fuga is now in fake Belgian colors in the RNlAF museum after a gear up landing.
For the spotters, that last one in Hermeskeil is NOT Belgian MT-31, But a French Fouga painted like it.
Nice! Th Zéphir was the naval version of the Magister, used by the French Aeronavalle to train carrier pilots.
Still 105 over it’s worth IMHO. 110 for a dataplate is ludicrous! The broken Merlin went for 15. Also well over what it’s worth!
Great shots!
