Wow! Didn’t know they build 21! Where are they all?

I remember something about Tu-2’s. they were in a mountain storage of some kind. All in very good shape. Until they arrived in the US. Seems the Chinese CUT them apart to fit them into shipping containers, rather then unbolt everything. I think one of them is under restoration to fly (long term). Others are static somewhere.

It’s located in Germany. And the Dutch recall was not for asbestos but for radioactive material in the engine.

I liked the colors on the profile posted here on page 1. The final result however indeed looks like an R/C aircraft. Especially the light green is hideous. I do think however it will be much better when dirty. Let’s get her in the air and full of oil stains:D

I only kept the little pistol casing and the 303 shell and put back the bulletpoints as im suspicious some of them are too modern and may be MOD property.

Yes, with the current defence cuts, the MOD has to re-use their expended bullets 😀
