I think I can speak for many when I say that it’s massively appreciated that the BBMF guys participate here, it really is.

I’ve just come online fresh from watching a lovely hour of Blenheim DVD action! 🙂

I can heartily recommend ‘Flight Of The Blenheim’ to one and all, especially as money from the DVD goes to the restoration/repair fund.

There’s some absolutely cracking footage there, with some good narration by the guys that matter, i.e John Smith and John Romain. There’s the usual slightly cheesy music of course, but this was only a very slight niggle on something that looks and sounds absolutely fabulous- the extras are very good too.

A lovely package, cheers Steve! 😀

Very nice! I suppose she’s a bit ‘office broom’ these days, but old LF is still a beauty.

Must admit (and I know this is drifting off the main topic again, so sorry) I never did grasp why an H2S blister couldn’t be made and fitted to the Lanc?

Ah, I see…it actually said 1-2 days on the Ebay listing though Steve!

No sweat now I know though, cheers!

    (Can you tell I’m keen?!)

Nothing today either, and no emails except for the Ebay system-generated ones either?

    Steve?

Aw nuts, wrong type of engine again; anyone know where the Bluebird Project can get a (hopefully) potentially usable air-start Orpheus 702 from please?!

Strewth, I’ve been waiting for the Blenheim one to appear for years, and then when it finally has, I have no idea!!! One order on it’s way…

Ooh, new spinners for the Lanc?

Just need to get that pesky H2S blister sorted next, eh?!

Well if the lovely BBMF could strip down my left leg to help with their spares position, I’d let ’em have it in a flash.

I’d much rather see a messy tangle of original parts become spares for genuine aircraft, rather than be rebuilt to the extent that they become a new build aircraft.

(Now ducks as real vs. replica/’dataplate restorations’ argument starts again!)

‘Night Flight’ was great for it’s creative use of Just Jane, but I didn’t think much of it as a drama- it was all far too bloody miserable for me!

That’s funny, I too have just ressurrected this on video! I waved like mad at Fluffy, but I don’t think he saw me!
