There is an online article about a P51 based at La Plata, but there is no confirmation it is that example.

Anyone in need of a pair of these out there?

That is, in a nutshell a pretty comprehensive snapshot of my ‘Vulcan experience’ since it flew again . No show……………..again.

IMHO current doesn’t necessarily mean experienced, couple that with the limited annual flying hours of such aircraft and yes I would say reasonably experienced. Lets face it he doesn’t commute in the Buchon does he

Given the happy outcome of this challenging/hazardous event, it seems odd to inject a negative tone to the comments. Fact is JR is, in relative terms, very experienced and very current, flying these machines (SEP warbirds) every week. He brought it back without a scratch. You cannot ask for more than that.
