gloss, matt, or semi-gloss, ?
synthetic or cellulose ?

Other options are available also (eg: acrylic, gloss etc…) but if you want to win awards pehaps very high gloss ?

Martin,

My local motor factors will mix to any paint spec you require (matt, semi-gloss, synthetic, cellulose etc, etc….) and put it in a pressurised can for spraying at approx a tenner a can.

You just need to quote the BS. number….

They had 2, one looks like it came out of a sewer pipe & was cheap, the other was mint & more than I’m willing to spend. I may knock one up from aluminium in the lathe 🙂

The AZ23s are ok price wise, but that ZTc/30 @ £70 is about double market price! 😮

They will be available on and off at around £30 – £35 sooner or later.

It’s a controlled fragmentaion high explosive round. The fuze can be either an AZ23 if wanted for land service use (i.e Tiger tank), in which case the shell should be painted green.

Or a Zt.Zs/30 time fuze if anti aircraft in which case the shell should be painted yellow. Both fuzes are available on Specialistauction.com under militaria, sub heading ordnance then sub heading fuze.

Or just use the Search function.
