Alan,
Thanks but the aircraft has never crashed, it just passed into civilian ownership.
It became N99218, formerly B-26K 64-17657 and originally it was born as an A-26C 43-22649
.
Sorry, i was under the impression from your postings on the subject you are someway connected with the event/organisers ?
My apologies……..
.
I donβt believe that thereβs an actual closing date for entries and I know that in the past some people just turn up with their cockpits!
Can you confirm that is still the case ? Trying to get me ‘arrier displayable in time.
.
…..and then your first/full name below should be suficient. Then i know who to avoid π LOL
Who will you be avoiding ?
And who will be avoiding you d’ya think ?
.
Ok…. so in summary, is there a meet up & where exactly please ?
.
Ritch,
Sorry i missed you today but luckily Max was home to meet me. PM sent re’ this post of yours.
Cheers.

Early Vulcan B.2 trio
Finally found time to jump on a mill and finish off my repro Vulcan middle panel, then off to the spray booth for all three. Next job is the nice one… putting the stuff back in. π
.
The Victor panel actually looks really early….
Indeed it is.
Hope the new owner can sympathetically restore it.
.
The matter has been resolved by the police -there are no implications to the preservation community.
Ah… pikeys then ?
.
Agreed, was it actually stolen & by whom ?
.
Nice job Simon. And good to meet you at Popham.
Don’t forget, if you get any more Gnat parts…. ![]()
