super sioux, i attach two photos of the Hanriot 320 of the Salvadoran AF.
In the first one you can read “H 320 TYPE 1826” (or 1926 maybe) and in the second you can see the five Hanriot 320 that the FAS had.
Both photos from FAS (Fuerza Aérea Salvadoreña) files, via Gary Kuhn and Tulio Soto.
They often try to convince the illegal plane to land. First by radio and then by force, they fly close to the illegal plane or shoot near.
The video is like 2 years old.
Here in El Salvador, because of the Chicago Convention, when they intercept an illegal airplane they do a lot of close and fast passes after they try to radio-contact them I also heard once that they dump the fuel of the A-37B tip-tanks on the plane to try make it land. It would be fun to see that!
A-37B tail number 434 from El Salvador’s Air Force after a wet t-shirt contest, i mean, aftert landing on its wing-tanks. Air Force says it will be ready to fly in a couple of weeks.

A-37B from El Salvador’s Air Force that had a mishap yesterday (August, 30th), left landing gear didnt come out but pilot managed to land safely.
Fouga Magister low pass from El Salvador’s Air Force:
I know this thread is about pictures but a video is better hehehe. I just uploaded some videos from El Salvador’s Air Force.
UH-1H taking off from the Military Hospital, video taken with cellphone yesterday.
A-37B at Ilopango Air Show 2005.
Almost every variant of El Salvador’s Air Force helicopter fleet, just the Schweizer 300 and UH-1M missing.
Salvadoran A-37B low pass.
AFAIK, FAES already operate Aravas.
The Aravas were sold in 1998 to buy 5 T-35B Pillan from Chile, the problem now is that the FAS has almost lost its transportation aircraft because of accidents, now it only has one BT-67 and one C-47 but its suicide to fly this old machine.
Anyone has any camouflage Fouga pics from El Salvador?
Thanks
I know nothing about Guatamala, and less about its airforce. Does the fin flash on it signify that the Dak on the left hand edge of the piccy is in military service?

Here is the information about the Dakota your asking, from Mario Overall at LAAHS.com forums back in September 11th, 2006 :
“Hello Folks,
I’m attaching a photo of DC-3 “FAM Uno” or “FAM One” formerly used as the presidential plane in Mexico. As far as we know, the plane was being restored at Monterrey when some Bolivians Entreprenuers purchased it. The last we knew was that they were ready to take the plane to Bolivia (It was around 18 months ago.)
Two months ago, more or less, the plane landed here in La Aurora (Guatemala City) and since then, it is parked at the East Side’s International Ramp, where all the planes in transit are parked. I asume that the crew ran into problems with the local immigration authorities or the plane is grounded due to mechanical issues… I don’t know for sure.
Enjoy!”
Ive been looking for some pics but with no success.
A couple more from El Salvador’s AF, Saludos.

Fouga, El Salvador.

Some from El Salvador, i hope you like em 😀

What about Chile’s F-5 Tiger III, havent read any news about future replacement.
I know that some air forces would like to put their hands on Chilean A-37s.
Muchas gracias Cessna172RG.
Are the Panteras recommended for service with another air force? or are they too old and tired?
Will the A-37Bs be retired soon too?
Saludos.
