Not supportive, but I do appreciete your being that plain. I have avoided Alitalia for that reason, and if they close down before october I could have a problem. Thanks
Anything is better than Iberia, so I hope I have a better experience. I paid only 74€ return for the SCQ-DUB-SCQ, so I don´t mind having to pay extra money for the catering.
Thanks for the pics and the report. I am particularly interested in Aer Lingus. I am sampling them for the first time on their new route Santiago-Dublin on the 7th april. I am looking forward to it. I suppose what I have to expect is “non complimentary” cabin service. Haven´t I?.
I have heard conflicting reports of Aer Lingus, both as good airline and as terrible one. I suppose it depends on the particular experiences of each passenger.
Thank guys. It´s a pretty obvious meaning too. Any other name with an unreasonable name?. Spanair…..no from Spain Air…no, no. Comes from SPAN….yes, they want to SPAN to the AIR…..wowww. Silly name indeed.
Air Plus Comet owns Aerolineas Argentinas, and lately they used Aerolineas MD88 to link Madrid-Rome and London for the Argentinian incoming passengers. Using the “old rickety” B747-200 for the route is certainly unusual. It could be an AR with Air Comet flight numbers. The liverly is really nice.
Iberia is a disgrace for Spain but it has two positive things: safe and usually in time. But you have to take note of two things. T4 in Madrid is a bit chaotic and A340 has to arrive from former transcontinental flights.
TFN is small and doesn´t have problems to get quick connections. However an hour is a bit limited since you have to make two different checkings. Binter doesn´t bellong to Iberia anylonger. No enough time.
There are a few things that makes me think. Passengers in the CRJ, were not told that they were doing a belly landing. My initial question. Shouldn´t the crew prepar passengers for it?. Embrace, and take off glasses and that stuff.
Or no told as the passengers told. Was the pilot aware that the landing gear was still retracted?. Shouldn´t there be warnings in the cockpit?. Iberia Regional is pretty safe with hundreds of flights per week with no incidences, but this makes one think.
My mother had a very bad experience last winter as she was flying home from Seville. At night at poor weather conditions, low clouds, no visibility, the lights were off. The CRJ suffered a total loss of power. She told that there was no light anywhere, all dark. In the middle of the clouds. The pilot went up again, and circle, to consume the fuel left over the sea. Then they went down, with strong turbulences, and no sight of lights down on earth.
It was a funny feeling, like staying into a dark washing machine. It seems the tower had to instruct the pilot about how to land. The crew calmed the passengers, but there was a strange feeling in the 35 passengers on board.
Thank you very much for the review. I have enjoyed it very much.
We have a saying in Spain: “for insulting, more than wanting it, one has to know how to do it”. It means if someone calls someone **** or nigger or whatever, it´s not an insult but a “intelectual discredit for the the person saying it” because it like a boomerang comes to its face. Someone inteligent should have wiser ways to insult, since the racial origen of someone is never a shame.
Saying so, I think that if society plays with fuel, it could get burnt. Big Brother offer the very worst of society. If we promote it, let´s expect the most nasty aspects of our souls. And then don´t cry for the results.

I don´t really get the point. Is all this fuss about a racist comment on a rubbish program?. I am not racist, and I think it´s should be punished, if discrimating someone. Verbally?. Well, I don´t see it more offensive than calling someone F. cow, or…any other strong insults which are allowed in this kind of programs.
People want blood, they search for the worst, they cheer when there are flights, shouts, insults. Why are the people surprised by this?. It´s show. Open the Pandora box and you get this. In a freespeech society, aren´t all words accepted. I find a bit of hypocresy in this polemic.
If the program works as in Spain, audience should punish it. Not outside intervention. In our Big Brother we have had, cruelty, insults, sexual descrimination, verbal abuse, dirty language and people seem to be enjoying it. We have had discrimination agaist a Cuban guy which eventually was the finalist but nobody got surprised.
We are in society in which we should feel sorry for anything. I wonder if there were an Spaniard and would be called “dirty dago” there would be the same kind of scandal. There are more important things in nowaday life. Just turn the TV off.

Oh yes. Defintely. Spanish Planes Armada with two B747, one A330, two Corseair ones, a NEOS and other from an undentified airline. So small and so many planes on the tarmac.
Of course safety is a concern. But they have been operating for a while there, without any problem. If we check many other destinations, the runway conditions are even worst. I mean of example the brand new and senseless destination LCG (in northwest of Spain) with a 1700 runway, orographical problems, strong wings and two pits at the end of each runway.
I wonder if suddenly any other neighbouring airport will get the airline operation, and it will be interesting if any subsidies are going to be given for the change.
No I am affraid not. I haven´t received anything for the moment.  I have sent you a message, I hope you receive it now.
