Well, the hole was caused by the incident. So let´s not think that the plane had a hole in the fuselage, before the incident. Lotus Air is reputed as the safest charter airline in Egypt. I am sure, that if the police hadn´t intervened it would have taken off back to Egypt. Safety concerns are good, but I think the news is a bit alarming. We don´t have hints yet, to make us suppose that this is another dangerous egyptian airline.

    i thing its quite smart.

Bullfighting is not a sport but a shame for the country. Well, i don´t what´s a “traditional Spanish livery”…..I suppose you mean Iberia, colourfull livery. Looks like Spanair to me, and even Air Europa colours resamble a bit. I know it will be a success. I know it´s CEO and he´s a capable person. Despite this fact, it´s hard to reduce costs in the longhaul sector.

Well there´s nothing bad in this. History is chain of cultural mixtures, and of course cookering is a part of it. Now american remixed food is playing an important role in other countries culinary tradictions.

America is new country an vital country, and gastronomy needs hundreds of years of evolution. For this reason is quite normal, that even the dishes considered american were taken by european settlers and mixed with other cultures foods to bring varieties. Hamburger, from russian Steak tartare…..ice creams from italian ones and even cheese cake from british and dutch versions. What´s more important, than the origen is the capacity of a country like the US to give their personal touch with their ideosincrasy. And with different ethnic influences like the mexicans, black people and so on. New Orleans food is the perfect example of mestique mixture (rice from Spain, spices from Africa and elegance from France). Texan food is deeply influenced by mexicans and the East Coast from European origen. California as a melting pot is a perfect place for cosmopolitan mixture.

The TGV new railway is still in tha paper, but there are some Government VIPs that want a connection betweem Francisca Sa Carneiro airport and TGV station, for now you can rent a Ferrari and drive from Porto to Galicia at high speed

    :p

I thought the old terminal had been pulled down. I hope they keep the spectator area (despite the smoked glass fence). A Ferrari in Spanish motorways????. I would be taken my driving license inmediately…..speed control are getting tough around here. Anyway, it takes less than two hours get there in my old VW. I just asked that because in Galicia many people uses OPO airport and eager for the TGV link as soon as possible. Only in an hour the whole drive to Saa Carneiro. The Galician side of the TGV is quite advanced in terms of works.

My city safe, despite occasional burglers in houses, pickpockets no major crime is reported. But I live in a flat (as most spaniards) with intercom in the entrance. The street is always full of people, so appart the chain on the door, no special measures are needed.
