It seems to me that all of this fiasco is the result of governement who didn’t give a damm of the people will.
They went to war AGAINST this will. Now whatever the decision is , that’s a bad decision. So , which one is the less bad ?
Well, people will of course is something sacret, but Aznar wasn´t on the elections. So there was a slap to Aznar in others face. I was anti war myself, and I think troops shouldn´t be sent. The most reasonable thing had been postponing elections because any country with that impact wouldn´t have acted in a reasonable. I had decided not to vote, and I didn´t vote at all. That was my tribute to victims. Not getting into Alqaeda plans for us. It doesn´t have anything to do with right of left. Zapatero, should have told in public that he would take the troops out of Irak…never. The former goberment was responsible but Zapatero colaborated quite a lot too. Something taken from a newspaper yesterday and showed documents seized to Alqaeda in Spain.
“to force the goberment to withdarw from Irak we should give hard hits to them…..we have to use the elections. We feel that they wouldn´t stand for three of four attacks before submitting to publics preasure. If they didn´t the victory of the socialist party
will be a fact and the withdrawal will be his priority”
Sounds quite concerning isn´t it?. The only positive thing of the point is that the submission to Bush administration is over. New administration will look to Europe now.

I am quite ashamed of the result myself. I was anti war, but I think i was time to show leadership and washed the “dirty clothes” other time. Spanish have never been a reasonable country whose decissions are usually taken with the heart and not the head. Alqaeda (already told to today) wanted to pulled down the goberment and punish Spaniards who ironically had opposed in 90% to war, and SPANIARDS have done WHAT ALQAEDA WANTED, we have submitted to terrorism, we have betrayed the victims memory. It doesn´t matter who were in power goberment needed backing because an external attack had been commited, doesn´t matter who were in power. The Socialist had said, “we promise to taken troops from there” and now they still say we are doing it soon. So terrorism WINS, Spain is easily backmailed. Next time terrorist know what to do, ETA knows what to do……….a bad day to feel proud of such an unreliable country: And I am still agaisnt war. Against terrorism….never that. đĄ

Keltic, I honestly think, and I share your feelings towards ETA, but this is the work of muslim terrorists. I just heard on the news that there’s more evidence, and that the spanish intelligence service is quite convinced ETA did not do it. For political reasons, Aznar wants to deny that the cooperation with the US has caused this drama. However, this is not an attack on “the coalition”, it’s an attack on every democracy. It could have happened in Paris or Brussels as well.3/11, a symbolic date, in the history of Europe.
Of course, it´s likely that they were islamists, but I don´t want to rule anything out. And ETA is able to perform it too. Even the posibility of a new terrorist group couldn´t be ruled out.

ETA didnt do this!If there is any fool here that thinks ETA was behind the attacks they should really go see a doctor! Here is why
1. ETA is too stupid to be able to do an attack like this, ETA could screw up a cup of coffee and you really think that they could do something on this scale ?
2.ETA is broke! they have no money, no women, nothing!, Islamic fundamentalists on the on otherhand are up to thier heads in money, and they have the intelligence and the grudge to do this!
So I think it all points to some radical “Islamic” group.
I didn´t want to get into this. It´s time for mourning and grief, and of course for determination. Tomorrow it´s elections time. I won´t allow them to tell me, which party should be in power. They haven´t been invited to make any campaign. WE SPANIARDS DECIDE WHO SHOULD BE ON PARLIAMENT. NOT ETA OR ALQAEDA.
I think you should provide the “fools” investigating this with your useful clues to solve this. I think many people abroad aren´t well informed of what this “cute” guys (ETA) have been doing over here.
-Of course ETA is, indeed, an stupid organization, which has been behaving in an stupid way for many years and dreaming to bend a whole country on her knees even to their Basque people which overwhelmingly despise them. The attack wasn´t anything so difficult, on the contrary quite easy to do. Four guys putting rucksacks on three consecutive trains on the same line. Quite cheap, but deadly. They even wanted to blow up the whole station (fortunately trains don´t run usually in time in Spain).
Of course ETA can be uttetly cruel. They had a sick obession with trains. Bombs regularly on lines, and three weeks before three rucksacks on a train whose destination was going to be Chamartin Station, with similar results. A couple of years they intented to blow up the tallest office skyscrapper in madrid with 5000 people inside. And recently 500 kg bombs were stopped by police in a control, to be set up in civilian targets. Of course they can be cruel. They have just decided to jump to the indiscriminate attacks…..and they never accept this kind of attacks. It a hidden and secret language between the goverment and ETA. They will never accept their responsabilty, not even in Hipercor (Shopping centre) in Barcelona, which is still denied now.
-Alqaeda doesn´t mind if there are elections in Spain or not…..but ETA does.
-And of course ETA don´t blow themselves up. They are utterly coward. So I don´t know who have done this, but there are enough hints to point the finger at ETA.

We are at a state of shock. Whatever did it, it our own September the 11th and the most tragical event ever happened here in Spain. We have been rushing to give blood, I am a donor myself. The numbers are rising; 190 at the moment mostly young people who use the line to come to university, and working class people coming from “Corredor de Henares”, a popular set of neigbourhoods. There are lots of speculations. I don´t want to get into this now, it´s being too depressive. Thanks for your support. If they wanted to make Spaniards to feel affraid at the elections, they are not achieving it. Massive votes are expected and anger.

I will be in Barcelona on the 7th and 12th of june. That would be fine.
Iberia wants to operate single Airbus fleet in the future.
Tenerife is a microcosmos in which one could find more than sun and sand. If you are interesting in other type of visit I could suggest.
-North for good old architecture and the place where colonial american architecture took influence from. You shouldn´t miss the old capital of La Laguna, Orotova, Garrachico, Icod de los Vinos, and Drago Milenario
-Of course the Teide National Park
-Costa Silencio with the montain area of the west.
Lots to do and see.
