    It´s unlikely Rumsfeld changes his mind, and I am sure if the death of Saddam would change the fate of the iraqi regime and the end of the conflict. I wonder why his own generals don´t shoot him.

    Jonesy;
    Weapons sales are happening everywhere. Democracies arm ditatoships, I suppose the free trade is not a question of morality, ditatorships sell to other ditatorships, and obviously in this case many countries have sold weapons to Iraq. Selling night googles is not something of special concerned. The US administration could warn Syria in private. But releasing this, right now, for nothing that serious, seems to me, looking for extra troubles. I think mr Rumsfeld has enought things to feel concerned about now, without picking up an unnecesary trouble with other arab countries. My concern is that this be used as an excuse for paving the way for further attacks to other arab countries. US administration reactions are different if coming from another big guys like Russia, that Syria. Mr Rumsfeld should relax, this gets out of his nerves, because things are not running according to schedule.

    Just a question. Imagine a Chinese spy plane would be on international waters, but spying the US…….would you have the same reaction?. I don´t have anything in favour of the chinese regime, which I found it quite loathsome, but the US plane was doing something wrong (or at least spying is secret because it´s something not really nice), not on a sightseeing tour. So if being caught…..simply…sorry would do, and specially after one chinese pilot was killed, for defending his country.

    The only way to get over it, is that this craziness finishes at soon as possible, but it seems that things are not so easy. Besides the media doesn´t colaborate much and shows too many attrocities which don´t give a significative informative aspect. Babies with bandages in hospitals, soldiers wounded, and corpses. I think we all know what war is like, and the way they handle things are like in a film. Too much “WAR LIVE”, like a baseball match. And I wish the americans don´t watch the images of their soldiers killed, as we saw them…..too hard. Hopely no photos of Iraqis soldiers killed yet.
