RE: Buzz launches flights to Almeria
Santiago airport (SCQ) my local airport at http://groups.msn.com/lavacolla (my own web page), is absolutely neglected by foreign operators, for a single reason. British holidaymakers want sun, and our weather is terrible. Only religous and cultural tourism, from the UK, which is probably enough for a low cost. But who bet on GO flight to Bilbao?. Spanish traffic to the UK includes shopping, touristical, Spanish communities living in the the UK, students to learn English and english people living around here. This brings seasonal flights and not much at a regular basis. besides Iberia won´t allow anyone at his yard. But the presence of a foreign airline would be an interesting factor. On the other hand, mot much business men. However there are lots of niches which could be profitable using regional jets. Pic of a MD87 taking off to London

RE: First Air Nostrum crash
BREAKINGS NEWS FROM SPAIN…….after a blood analysis to the Dutch and canadian pilots……the results shows that….THERE WAS HINTS OF ALCOHOL AND DRUG¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡. Not official confirmation, but it´s a big blow for Demin Air if confirmed.

Wowww, cool, I have to go there one day.
RE: Euromanx
Glad to have enjoyed the B1900, I do hate this plane. Narrow, ugly as a flying wardrobe, unestable…..I rather prefer the Jetstream J41.
RE: First Air Nostrum crash
It was a Demin air plane. It seems that they suffered from a major failure on the breaks. Someone mentioned F28 crash in Peru (Chachapoyas) when it plunged in a mountain in a CFIT killing all 48 on board. It was a Tans Peru plane, the airline owned by the air force. It seems that this airport lies in a mountainous area, with lots of foggy conditions, and as you know South America is full of old equipment (no TCAS, GWPS), bad equiped airports located in orographically complicated areas. So, the usual stuff.
RE: New Picture of Jet2 !
Brilliant and discerning livery. It looks like the trendy Bulgari watches decoration, on a couple of Alitalia´s B747-200. At least not another white fuselage with stickers on it.

RE: IB A340 PIC
Spanish charter using DC-9, well only these ones used DC-9 in Spain. Aviaco, Air Sur and Viva Air. At least a a permanent base.

RE: Using photos
I mostly use my photos, however in some occasions I took some pics from airliners.net. I suppose, as Mongu says, no problem if you don´t use them commercially.
RE: Where is this aircraft now? Air Europa Express
Air Europa Express planes stored in Zaragoza (Northeast of Spain). Photo taken by a CRJ Air Nostrum pilot I know.

RE: Air Midwest Beech 1900 crashes in Charlotte, North Carolina
Everything will be alright. Horrible news. After seeing the reconstruction of the accident on NBC News, it seems that it encountered a strong gust of wind, making it to go vertical, and stalling. Only hypothesis.
RE: Turkish Airlines plane crash
Statistics say: the crashes come in cycles of three. So….IAM FLYING TO THE UK at the end of the month….and I am scared. I´ll be flying: UX B737-800, Easyjet B737-700, and EMB145 from British Midland.
