    I love the Bae 146 too. About configuration, the LH avros with 2X” were simply great. Air UK 3X3 was simply terrible and Debonair 3X3 but generous pitch was OK.

    I was thinking the same. Terrible. Did the guy who designed the boring livery of Swiss have anything to do with this?. At least the letters could have been more stlylish. Boring, unimaginative and dull.

    No cargo, it was an IL-86 on a positioning flight to Saint Petersburg with only 16 crew on board. Aviation is getting really crazy. How can an empty four engines IL-86 in fine weather colapse like that?. I can´t understand it.

    Iberia Livery is simply great. Colourful, bright and despite being old remains attractive….. Much more than the usual and trendy white fuselages with bare latters. Planes are not so dirty. The only “But” is uniforms….should be changed immediately. Nice colour combination but quite outdated.

    It´s quite odd a plane losing control like that. So my personal hypothesis. A distraction is not feasable (fine weather perfect visibility) an engine failure would have produced this. The plane was carrying corrosive material from recycled batteries, so a leak could reach vital control surface or even hidraulics and could have made it to ditch. possible?.

    In any case this flight is to serve the big Spanish community living there and taking relatives to Venezuela. So plenty of traffic here, not dependant on the country crisis.

    Yes, I am Spanish: SCQ. Santiago-Lavacolla lies in the northwest of Spain and it´s the main airport of the autonomic region of Galicia.
