RE: Iraqi Invitation
I am not saying Garry, Bush is an evil man. Sometimes good intentions can be spoilt in the way of achieving them. I am sure most people in Iraq thinks their leader is right and even Saddam himself thinks he´s a good man. Not even the US administration has stablished any link between the 11th Sept events and the Iraq regime. So we can´t mix things. If any conection were stablished, I would be in favour of an intervention under the UN command.
RE: My Flight Review. LBA-PMI/ PMI-LBA
Great report. Really informative, comprehensive and enjoyable.
RE: best biz jet
I go for the Sultan of Brunei A340. Then the A319 or finally the Bombardier Challenger and finally the EMB Legency. The rest are too small. I like space. Think big. I don´t like the Boeing 737 so the VIP version wouldn´t it be different.
RE: Iraqi Invitation
Have you ever heard that sons always want to surpass their parents?.
I really regret that lots of civilian will be killed, probably for having a worse situation later. With different factions fighting each other and a caos in the region. Really bad.

RE: guess the airline!
This time, it was too easy.
RE: Iraqi Invitation
It was really delightful hearing president Bush talking about democracy, how naughty was Saddam, and that he didn´t mind if inspectors were allowing to come back, he simply wants to overthrow the Bagdad despot because the world would appreciate it and for peace, democracy and bla, bla, bla…and all that simplistic and basic stuff some people want to hear. The mask has fallen. I don´t think Saddam wants to bring them back and I suppose that his intentions are as poisoned as a snake bite, but he is playing quite well now to embarrash the US administration. I don´t normally trust politicians and in this case even less. We all know Saddam is a ditatorship…so what¡¡¡, like dozens of countries in this planet. I don´t think the US should decide who should have power. Probably Saudi Arabia or Kuwait will be the kind of democracy, the US is looking for. About arms of mass destruction. No proves. But I suppose they are developing it. But the question is……why Iraq can´t have this weapons and Pakistan can. I suppose the missiles shield is to be built for something….I don´t think Saddam or any other country, dares to send a missile to the US. Dangers are in our own territory with terrorism. The Gulf war was a fair one to fight an agression, but this case is senseless. I suppose the Armament Lobby want to test new weapons, Mr Bush wants to make a bit of electoralism. If the UN agrees, I would be in favour. The question is…why sanctions are not lifted?. I suppose it nice for the US allies in the Gulf, produce the oil couta, Iraq can´t. And I would be happy if Saddam is overthrown, but not like that and by external influence. The iraqis should do it.

RE: Galileo
Galileo is a necesary step to get a less dependant Europe from the US. What it costs, is simply unimportant.

RE: Avianca’s new c/s!
What happens with the designers in aviation?. Another boring and dull white fuselage. It seems that planes will confused with the clouds. Do you image how boring will be spotting at airports with all these new white fuselages. Disgusting¡¡¡¡¡¡
RE: Europe’s Worst Airport?
Definitely, Madrid-Barajas is the worst airport in Europe, not because of the shopping which is great but for design (I would say lack of design): The airport is fairly modern and well equiped, but it has been built adding things, linealy and without any structure. Three terminals, several piers makes conecting from terminal one to three a long walking distance of five kilometres. Narrow gangways, dark spaces, confusing departing gates and massification. Small tarmac makes most planes stay away from fingers. You could easily staying for more than 30 minutes from the plane stand to the runway. A complete nighmare. So nighmare that my mother which is fit but getting old, had heart disorders in her last conection. I find LPL really cute and confortable.
RE: US to cut miliatary aid to Taiwan if China Airlines gets 330
well guys, why do you get so surprised?. Typical protecionist measure of the Bush administration (and others) the same happened in Israel when Ms Albright called “anoyed” when El Al was considering the adquisition of Airbus. I wonder why in the seventies, sixties and before Boeing and Mc Donell Douglas, got most of the world orders ahead the British or French industry…simply political preasure.
RE: Your fav place in the world?
