The owners were the British, and the land was the home of arabs here AND jewish people.
In the time of the mandate, money was given to both sides by the British. The jewish people used that money, developed their factories, fields and so, and the arabs did almost nothing with it.
2 British committees agreed that i’d be the best to divide the land between the two sides.
On the day the jewish wanted to declare their part of the land as a state, the arabs attacked, and in that war, the jewish gained some other parts.
