Cannot see Robs taking the E aloft

I remember poking my head into North Weald when this aeroplane was being prepared for Empire of the Sun I think, Robs pushed the rebuild forward at a pace to meet the deadline only for this P51 not to be used if I remember correctly.

I used to be up around Bentwaters and Woodbridge during the 70s and the new people moan about the noise of Merlin engines, lucky they did not have to put up with the fighters at zero feet like it was then, loved it

North Weald will have a few bits, shame the DC4 just departed, but worth a call for sure
