We were sitting in the garden eating our evening meal when the Gulf appeared at about 4000 foot on a heading we never get aircraft commercials coming from, we then noticed a Typhoon slightly behind and to the starboard wing with its gear down, obviously escorting, the second Typhoon was approximately 1 mile behind and clean, due to no computer in the house last night I could not post, we did think it may of been the black box’s being brought back to the UK from Ukraine, no sonic boom heard by us as some have reported and the aircraft were well throttled back. I am guessing the Tyffy with gear down was the follow me and the one behind would of taken the Gulf out if needed. Stansted did go quiet for a while and took a bit of time to start flowing out again.
An exciting moment but glad it was not an incident costing lives.
The reason I decided not to got to another legends was because of the commentator, if it had been mentioned earlier I would of gone, he drove me mad in 2012
