A magnet may be of some use ! I can see the verdigris which points to brass n copper but it looks like it may have rust on it, could be phosphor Bronze
I would say it is a sheet used as a test piece for a fly press, I note that there is even a naughts n crosses etched into it. Very strange and very interesting.
Are you sure it is Brass ?
Maybe he will sell some cars and start buying vintage aeroplanes.

well as the Hurricane shot down 4/5ths I would say the margin would of been a lot more narrow. The Lufftwaffe were more frightend by the Spitfire so I wonder how much that had on the outcome.
One other thing. More pilots were burnt in Hurricanes and put out of action but you can analise this more and more but its just conjecture.
