Spotted very low Lancaster over Hutton, Essex, this afternoon, can’t have been more than a couple of hundred feet! Anything on in that area?
Baby Spitfire heading west over Witham. Returned about a hour later heading east, 1400hrs 1800footish.
Boeing Stearman just south of Witham heading east 15.15hrs
P51 Mustang over Witham 10.35am, heard it but not quick enough to see it! Picked him up on airband – heading towards Maldon.
Spitfire went over few mins later – managed to see that one. D-day stripes, heading southwest.
