It is a 110 VDM, the 109 would be numbered 109 I have a pair somewhere and one of which was taken apart by Peter Rushen in the 1970s and he showed me the markings and explained why
The clue is there in the stamp 9-11085.

Jet wash it, then treat rusty areas with Deox Gel and then apply liberal amounts of ferosol, wipe and transform.
Someone I know has an early Avon up for sale and i has been dicused to do the same to that before departure

Now my turn,
I think I have worked out what has gone on.
I feel if I want to put anything up on Ebay IE a crisp packet for one million that is up to me. It is also up to the puchaser the purchase at the purchasing price he wants to pay purchase price right for the purchaser and as the perchaseller I will be happy with my one million and the purchaseeee be happy to.

If anyone can understand wot i ave rote please reply in a plain envelope.:diablo:

Lancaster

Spotted very low Lancaster over Hutton, Essex, this afternoon, can’t have been more than a couple of hundred feet! Anything on in that area?

Baby Spitfire heading west over Witham. Returned about a hour later heading east, 1400hrs 1800footish.
Boeing Stearman just south of Witham heading east 15.15hrs

P51 Mustang over Witham 10.35am, heard it but not quick enough to see it! Picked him up on airband – heading towards Maldon.

Spitfire went over few mins later – managed to see that one. D-day stripes, heading southwest.
