Must not crack a smile at “Checkpoint Charlie”
Someone asked about the PA474 heading to DX for its overhaul, I am guessing it will transit to DX once its 2016 work is over, nice to know there is about 18 inches of space between the wing tips and the hangar door frames! Get that center line painted in the middle !
I guess the jets will start to depart on a rapid basis from now on, shame, I am not a Paraffin burner person but I hate to see them go.
The spring clamp looks like it may of held a small bottle, its obviously something that needs changing or using from time to time
WOW !
As of today I think it has changed, you used to be able I think to have three items and not classed as an airshow but you still needed CAA approval, over that 3 or whatever it was you them came in the next bracket.
We need some oldschool airshow/event organisers to pop there heads in.
Oh and I am sure around the 90s it was a cheque for 80 quid to the CAA for the approval of 1 to 3 aircraft/display.
BBMF do flypasts all the time and I am sure they are not classed as an airshow.
Wonderful idea, simple brilliant.
Will there not be a spare hangar going cheap at Duxford in 2018? at least you know it will fit!
DUGGY.
what a fantastic clear photograph, love it and you can see their kit and just how it was.
Thank you
Its nice to know people are around to pick up on these misrepresentation JC like your good self and Rocketeer (welcome back) to point out the criminal acts.
Amazing, you move something on and suddenly it takes on a new identity and history !
I did hear also a Aerojumble was being planed at the Coalhouse Fort museum in 2016 but nothing on the website yet.
Brilliant, thank you
I attend the a motoring event and that has some fantastic aerojumbe in the autojumble stalls, most of the stall holders have no clue of what the item is but if they have a clue its ‘Spitfire’ which proves most of the time they have no clue.
Last year there was a nice Jet instrument panel complete, propellers, lots of instruments and a couple of seats. to be honest I pick up more there than an aerojumble for some strange reason.
I think I did say in a thread about the incident in Kent it would be in the air within the year, hopefully my soothsaying is correct.
