I am guessing the sports ground in Watford is not the Unilever one of when this photo was taken. ( I just had a google map minute)
It looks like a footpath behind and a gentleman looking over through the fence.
I wonder if straight after this photo was taken they dug a big hole and buried it, just a thought.
